OTelBin will help developers adopt OpenTelemetry faster and more easily by providing a visual editor and validator for OTel Collector configurations.
Visualizing Configurations
The main feature of OTelBin is to visualize and help with editing of an OTel Collector configuration.
Validating Configurations
Not only does OTelBin perform YAML syntax checking for OTel Collector configs, but it additionally provides semantic validation. For example checking for defined Endpoints or Receivers
Sharing Configurations
After logging in with GitHub or Google, you can share a OTel Collector Configuration either as pure link, as badge (useful for GitHub Readmes) or as rendered visualization as picture.
